Stargazer

by Jackie Strano

/

about

spontaneously written, performed, and recorded in one take the day after the Uvalde Texas shooting in the United States on May 24th. I was warming up before recording another song and this meditation came out, glad Rick was recording...just leaving this here as an exclusive single as I continue the work on my regularly scheduled recording project

lyrics

I lost my way but I don't mind
I been wandering for a very long time
I know it's hard to let go
Oh you know it's so hard to let go
I never was wrong but I hate being right
I left on a song in the dark of the night
It's hard to know
when you should let go
but you will know
it's not easy to let go
I thought I knew but I was dead wrong
I leave it all up to you and I give you this song
I lost my sight of what was wrong or right
but that's ok
I'll hate today
Oh, where do we go?
There's nothing more to fight for
I know it's hard to let go
I worked the front line
I was in your street
I fought under stars
It's too much for me

Oh how great you are
Oh how great you have fallen
How great you are
